Hello again,
I'm trying to edit the .psd file for my portalsite theme on my postnuke website. I want to change the background colours of the header, but I'm having a problem with photoshop. My biggest problem is that I don't *really* know what I'm doing, having never used Photoshop before. It looks to me that the background layer is locked, so if anyone knows how I go about unlocking the layer so i can change its colours I'd really appreciate it. If I'm going about it wrong, please shout up.
Cheers
Paul. |

| In the Layer window, double click the background layer and select ok, that will unlock it for editing. |

Double clicked it and it brought up the create new layer dialog, clicked ok and it's renamed the layer, I've done it right though yeah? It's unlocked etc, but it's a new layer, so just thought I'd check.
I'm not really too sure what I'm doing next to change the colours, sure I can work it out, but a few pointed would be most appreciated.
Cheers. |

| Best bet would be to use the square select tool, select the areas you want to change and color over them on new layers. |
