Post subject: Black Glass Problems

I recently got Blackglass and the Autotheme dealy, but I have them installed and I think I have a rather large problem.
When I use the Blackglass theme, I lose all my blocks, and can only see the center content on the admin panel.
My users can only see a link at the top of the page that says powered by Auto theme.
The themes that came with Autotheme work fine, however, so it has to be something internally with Blackglass, has anyone come across this? |

| Which cms version of BlackGlass did you get and did you get the right version of AT to match the cms? |

I cannot apply the theme to my site to provide you with a link, if I put it up, I lose all my content completely =/.
Basically, it looks like the background for the Blackglass theme, but there is no blocks, not even the middle after you click "home" and get out of the admin screens.
I got the PHPNuke CMS version, and I got .8 AT, did I do something wrong?
I have Nuke 7.5 and I ran the upgrade files to get to 7.8 |

| There are different versions of AT LITE. Make sure yours is for your brand of cms. .8 is the correct version. |

Well, I've tried two completely different installations now.
Php Nuke 7.5, 7.7, 7.8, with AT .8 for PHPNuke, no luck, the theme did not show any contect.
PostNUKE .75, with AT .8 for Post, and it did the exact same thing. Only showed me the center module.
Does portal themes offer any sort of log in and setup services for labor cost?
I'm really sick of messing with this, I just need the site to work =/ |

| bzimbardi im havin same problem , so this morning i reinstalled my portal , i deleted nothing justoverwrote eerthing , i didnt touch my install of AT.8 or black glass i left it as it was just reup loaded my portal now i got some left n right side bars and one centerblock but i cannot add any blocks i run platinim 7.6 n i aint figured it out yet either lol , but yesterday i had nothing on site www.vashstampede.net/ |

I'm glad you got yours up and running, I've been watching your posts to see if you figured it out before me, so maybe I could bug you for a fix =)
Dude, I have tried everything. And I do mean everything.
Also, I am FTP only, so I cannot use shell, if that tells you something.
But, did you put all the files in before you uploaded? or did you upload the core and then put up the mods and the theme?
Mine is still quite broken, I'm about to give up on it and pay someone to design the site, because I'm just really not skilled enough to do this, I don't think.
I really don't have any other ideas, I have re-loaded nuke and post at least 5-6 times each, and I get the same results evertime.
I'm really confused though, because everything works fine on the other autotheme themes, just not blackglass.
Update:
All Autotheme default themes work ok in Postnuke, Blackglass still is not showing any content. |

| naw i had site already up in stalled black glass n at .8 yesterday , i can switch back t o T platinum n my site shows but go back to blackglass n got only 1 centerblock n feww left n right sidebasrs i left errthing like it was n just ftp platinum nuke 7.6 i s wat i got , i just reinstalled n let all files be overwrote but did not reinstall over AT.8 just left it alone but it wont let me add anyblocks |

I think I'm getting close, but still no luck.
Would anyone be willing to take a look at my web server to see if I'm doing something wrong?
The Blackglass theme will load up, but now there is no content at all, the link that says "pwoered by" is up at the top. |

I loaded a copy on my postnuke site and it was fine. I can load it back up and show you but trust me it worked just fine.
Did you have any trouble uploading it to your server? If so, delete the theme and try again. I uploaded it to /themes. Is that where you uploaded it on your postnuke attempt?
The theme does work so if you still cant get it working then Mars will be back tomorrow so Im sure that he can figure it out for you.
By the way, I wanted to go see your site and the problems but I could not find a link.  |

Hmm, interesting.
It must just be something I am doing wrong with the theme, and yeah, I uploaded it to the /themes directory.
The link is www.bryanzimbardi.com, but I don't have the theme uploaded because im still adding stuff.
If you guys want to take a look at it, post a time on here and I will shut it down during those times if I see the post so you can see the error.
I've tried deleting the theme many times, but I do trust that yours was working, I just wonder what I'm doing wrong =/ |
