Hi,
I'm running the wow4 theme in phpnuke 7.5 w/ autotheme.
By default in forums, the [QUOTE] text was the same color as the background (black), I found that in the style sheet and fixed it.
Several of the pop-open menu's are black text on black background and I can't find the appropriate entry in the style sheet to fix it (is it in the phpnuke sheet or the phpbb sheet?). An example would be the [Search for member] button for adding a member to a group. A window pops open to let you type a wildcard pattern but all the text is black on black.
Otherwise it's a great theme! Our site: http://www.epilogueguild.com |

So further, we are having some problems with things looking good in Firefox but being broken in Internet Explorer.
So [QUOTE] tag yielded black text on black background in Firefox, and I was able to find and edit the text color from black to light grey in the forum.css file. In IE however, the QUOTE tag creates a giant white box. You can see it here:
http://www.epilogueguild.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=44
Also, the Send Mail button looks fine under Firefox and is a broken image link under IE. When you are posted a message, all the check boxes at the bottom of the screen:
Disable HTML in this post
Disable BBCode in this post
Disable Smilies in this post
Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)
Notify me when a reply is posted
Have a ugly white border around them in IE they don't have Firefox. The pop-up windows (such as for Look for User name] are still black text on black background (and I can't find the proper entry to fix in the css).
Tables in the phpnuke content have white gridlines in IE they don't have in Firefox. So this looks fine in firefox and very bad in IE:

Any pointers to fix any of this? |

Saw something when a user that is not logged into the post nuke site can only see the menu on the left nothing else no center and no right column. Any ideas? As soon as they register they can view it. I change themse back to the Wow2 and they can see the Center and right. I changed some artwork around for the header, also I noticed the PSD has no layers to it or text layers to edit. So I had to remake using a new window and match image size then Just play with it. Again Great work Mars
Also noted to check forums in IE. Big mess makes a giant seperation form the left menu bar and shoves the forum way to the right leaving a grey or white empty zone then to the right of the forum section is more of a void. FYI |

Not logged in sounds like a permissions issue.
I will look into the other 2 and issue a fix. |

| Well the theme seems ok in Firefox and mozilla But it does not like IE. More so for the forums. Just FYI if you need to see my site with the theme active let me know. |

Ok updated the PostNuke wow4 zip file.
Download the zip you were sent the link to.
The only updated files are the pnphpbb2.zip in the zip file.
Unzip that zip and update the forums with it. |

Thanks for the update mars
On a side note, are you aware of any css trick that would allow the radio buttons only to be transparent?
I am getting a few minor issues with textboxes showing up black with black test, which is not a big deal, but am getting those obnoxious squares around the input radio sections for forms and such...
I tried the various background:transparent, and while it fixed the radio buttons, it in turn made the submit button transparent...
Overall I would still rate your theme as one of the better ones out there, just has glitches in IE (damn M$) - The problem, as you know, is that many people are not going to install a seperate browser just to get a site to look like it should.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I will dig into that as well and issue another fix.
Damn forums are a pain in the ass in Internet Exploder. |
