The new OF theme that is long in the making. scraped. then revived. then put aside and I finished it.
this theme has seen alot of the dust on the shelf lol.

complete with forum.
the header I am stumped on as I want to make it compatable with 800X600 but yet dont know how I want to go about doing that.

If you go through some of the modules.. You will see I still have some postnuke issues.  and autotheme issues. Yet I am still learning this thing they call postnuke  |

| Describe what issues you are having as I am not seeing what you mean. I find the site to be quite clean looking and the modules that I have checked and the different pages all look to be running well. |

Image Gallery will not load with right blocks not there. PnCPG module it is. However, in Autotheme it doesn't see the module so I can't turn off the right blocks.
Forums. When you post a reply it acts like right blocks are there.
Clicking on COC and it blows up the right modules. |

Do my worst, huh? OK, I'll give it a shot.
1. My initial impression is. . . . . . .Horrible! I am viewing the site at 1024x768 resolution with the Mozilla Firefox web browser. The theme is in dire need of either repair or replacement.
2. The header is atrocious. That purplish, glowing, electrified, whatever-it-is lettering in the header is way too thin for that particular effect. If you like that effect, use it on thick ass fontwork, and the impact will be magnified several fold, I think. As it is now, it looks like bad tasting spaghetti.
3. The dark gray color used in the left and right blocks is, perhaps, the single worst thing about this theme. It does nothing to play upon the black background color of the majority of the theme, and deadens the visual impact of the site upon the site visitor's eyes.
4. There is a little artistry present on the right edge of the center block title bars. It is a shame that this same level of artistry did not prevail throughout the entire theme.
5. Overall, except for the right edge, the center block title bars are way too thin to support the non-outlined center block stories. The end effect is nothing short of awful. Furthermore, the center block title bars demonstrate at least some skill in their crafting, but it is as though there was no guiding vision behind their crafting. The end result is a ho-hum feeling that the center block title bars leave me with.
6. If the horizontal row of links just beneath the header were larger, I might like them. But, they're not, so I don't.
7. There is a framework, of sorts, that wraps around the entire theme, and heads up and over the top of the header. It looks smooth and crisp, but even still, it ends up being killed by the lack of ornamentation. So much potential, and yet, totally squandered on a dead, lifeless feel and look.
8. The footer, if I could figure out just exactly what the Hell it is supposed to be, might have come out a winner. But, it didn't quite make it. It's not an ugly footer piece, but it just lacks pizzazz and impact. It looks like something that came off of a space ship of some type. But, the rest of the site just doesn't have enough substance to it in order to make that footer really do much more than to just sit there and take up space, like a dead log.
9. The header graphic that the purplish lettering sits atop is about as inspiring as eating Styrofoam cup would be. It looks like a big piece of metal something. It should be scrapped and recycled.
10. The graphic in the Random Pic block is too small. If you're going to have pics, make them big enough to actually see. I feel like Gulliver looking at a pic that small.
11. The Main menu on the left hand side is overpopulated. You need to break or scatter those links up a tad.
12. The little screwheads in the framework add nothing, whatsoever, to this theme. replace them with about a hundred times more metal studs - big ones, and the theme will start to have some impact.
13. The pale blue text color does NOT work well against the dark gray color. Hardly any colored text will work well against that dark gray. If you intend to keep that dreadful color for some of your text, then it needs to be much larger, to give it impact.
14. This theme lacks any graphic that really grabs the eye and makes me say, "Wow!" As a result, the site looks BORING.
15. The far left and right edges would look better, if done in black. It would make your framework stand out more. In its current configuration, it helps add to the dead feel of the site.
16. This theme fails the contrast test in a big way.
17. The white text does not even work well against the black background, due to the other dominant colors in play here. If you keep the white text, place it all in bold - every last bit of it.
18. The lettering is too small, when viewed through Mozilla Firefox. If people have to squint to read your web pages, then they will abandon it for a website where they do not have to strain their eyes. If eye strain were a crime, your theme would be looking at doing some hard time.
All in all, the theme sucks. A root canal would be a more pleasurable experience than looking at this abomination of a theme. |

However, it also helped them do what I wanted. A 3rd person view on the site to pull our eyes away. |

Not a problem. That theme is in need of either replacement, or a major rework, I think.
The thing that your clan members might want to keep in mind is that one of the core purposes of nitpicking what is wrong with a theme is to result in an improvement to the website, when all is said and done.
Ultimately, as long as the people who use a given site like the theme, that's all that really matters, no matter what myself or others think of it. |

I know what you mean. However, it has to be pleasant for others that come to the site freshly. Also, if you look at something for so long you get used to the errors of it and ignore it.
So new eyes help every so often.
No updates have been done yet since I am the only webadmin right now.
I am thinking of changing the theme to an off white instead of the dull gray. It will then have more contrast. |

those news blocks where created by mars.
I told mars to re-code the site for me and do any modifications he would like. 
I will be changing the font color to something more nice..
Also the changing the dark gray.
Thinking of changing the theme to white instead of that gray.
going to cutt off the edges like you suggested. |
