Not sure if this is a really odd problem, or if it's been posted before (only went back 3 pages).
The problem I am having is that when some of my users log in to the website, everything on the main page dissapears except for the links at the top. This is only happening to a small majority of user's (problem is occuring in both Firefox and IE), and I have been unable to duplicate the issue between my 3 pcs. I've created new accounts, used different browsers on different types of PCs etc, to no avail.
So what they are having to do is logout of the site just to read the news, or click on one of the links on the sidebar.
Any help is appreciated!

-- On a side note, if you look at the Past Articles block on the bottom right of the main page, is there any way to make the text fit a little cleaner between the lines? |

Could they possibly have a weird setting in their profiles?
Different theme chosen maybe?
Different start page?
As for the past articles, it's a combination of things, the screenshots in the news are pushing the center to its max width, and the long article titles are pushing the right blocks out as well. |

Not sure to tell you the truth. I don't even know where to begin to diagnose the problem.
As far as the theme/start pages User's are not allowed to change themes, or start pages (unless they know of a way to do it that I don't) as I have them set to not override.
And a couple of them are having the exact same problem at their home and work PCs. I've had them try creating new accounts, but same problem. |

Hrmm...
That sounds like a permissions issue to me then.
Have you edited permissions in PN at all lately? |

| Have never edited them, they are still set as the default. Something I need to do.. But have yet to get into un-lazy mode and learn how to do it. The only permissions I have set is in the forum area. |

I would still look at the permissions for those users and what groups they belong to.
If it was a theme issue it would affect all of the users, if it was a site specific issue it would also affect all users. So I would look at a working user account and compare it to a non-working one permissions and group membership wise. |

It was the permissions. For some reason it was not putting registered user's in the Guest group, which I thought it would do automatically.. But that gives me a reason to learn how to do it.
Thanks for your help, yet again! |
