Let me start by saying that i am really really new to postnuke....

Remember that when i tell you what the problem i am having is. I was playing around with the themes, and tried to install one but in the process i managed to delete all the default themes that get installed. I am running it on a Linux box which has no access to the Internet (its a test box) and yep you guessed it - i am pretty new to Linux as well. I thought it would be a good way to learn both postnuke and Linux by combining the two...

Anyway - i installed it ok - got everything working. Then decided to play around with the themes. After accidentally deleting the standard themes, i thought i could easily fix it by just copying the standard themes back into the folder. But now the index.html file that is found in the root of the themes folder is an empty file. So if i try and load up the main page - it just shows a white page. So my question is - is there anyway to rebuild this index.html file - or do i need to start all over again?

Oh - and did i mention that i am new to all this???

Honestly when this sort of thing happened to me when I first started messing with postnuke I uninstalled and reinstalled quite often. As far as I am concerned I would just delete it all and start over again. Each time is a learning experience. Wink

when I get home I will look into my index.html to see what is all in there. If its just a setup file I will send it to you via PM.

although as stated above. Best option is to have fun with postnuke at first. I have no clue how many times i blew up the database and the site on the test box. Every time I did I had learned something new. Most of the time it was, OK I need to write that down so I never do that again.
Another thing. Make a backup Smile let me say that again. MAKE A BACKUP. Also the main index.html on the site is not really theme related it just calls other things if I remember right.

Smile
