Hi all,
I just got the CS theme from the Donation page.
I like it... A LOT! Awesome job.
However I seem to have an issue.
I currently use phpNuke 7.6 with a subBlack theme. It uses Left, Center, and right blocks.
For some reason, When I load the CS theme as my own, it dows not show the center or right blocks. Left is fine though.

Any thoughts?
I have autotheme lite v8 installed. It seems to be working well otherwise, just those darn blocks. Smile

Oh, and is there a way to port the forums to that same theme? That would be SO cool instead of the usual subsilver.

Many thanks!!!

That theme wasn't designed for right blocks.
If you want them I will have to edit the html a bit, and I will do a matching theme for the forums tonight for you.

Dude you rock! That is so awesome!
I would do it, but I am a bit of a noob with all this. I get the basic stuff and can figure most things out, but with the coding... ahhh... well, better ledt to the pros. Smile

Thanks much!
All this support... you need to charge more than you do for these themes man! This is better support than I get for software I have piad hundreds of dollars for. Smile

Peace

Hey, any thoughts on why the center blocks are not showing? I don't have anything "special" in there other than the last 10 forum posts... oh, I do have the PyschoNuke bolck for server information. Not sure if it's something with that, but it shouldn't. Shows up in all the other themes I have tried. Maybe I just goofed something. I will look some more,

Thanks again!!!

All working well. Theme looks good and have recieved a lot of complimants on it!

The only complaint I have recieved is with the forums portion.
Basically, 2 things...
1) When reading a post, the black text is a little hard to read.
2) In the forum index, the main forum topics sort of blend in. Although they do change to yellow when you hover over them.

So all I am looking to do is change these colors. Maybe make the text when reading a post white, (as it is when you post a new message) and also make the topic headings/titles in the forum yellow all the time.
I have tried to change this in the admin control panel for the forums, but subsilver is the only theme listed to edit. None of the changes I make effect the forum stuff.
I have also tried to change some stuff in the /themes/nhcz/forum.css, but none of those changes seem to change anything on the website either.

Could you tell me where I would make these changes?

Thanks much!

One way that I would think would work for you to change the text colours would be to do the following,

From your forums go to the Administration Panel
Then go to Styles Admin-Management
Then click EDIT for the forum style that you want to change
Change the colour codes for the text or whatever you want to change so that it works best for you.
Save the changes and see how it looks.

I would write down the codes that you have changed so that you can always go back to what you had.

Mars probably knows other ways to do it and if so he can post to this too. You can either go ahead and try it or wait until you see what he has to say. Very Happy

I have actually tried this. The odd thing is that when I go to my forum admin page, it shows up in the subsilver theme and some of the changes I made see to only effect that admin page. Under Styles Management, subsilver is the only one I have to edit. As an example, I went in and changed the Font Color 1 to white, all it did was change all the text in the admin control panel to white... didn't effect the Forums, or any other parts of the board at all. Smile
Now just the fact that subsilver is there and not my own theme makes me think I have something wrong overall. When I go to Add a style, there is nothing there.
Plus it tells me it's out of date and I need to go to phpBB.com to update. (Which I even did but even copying over the new files doesn't make that message go away.) Here's what it tells me when I first log into the admin control panel...
Your installation does not seem to be up to date. Updates are available for your version of phpBB, please visit http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php to obtain the latest version.
The latest available version is phpBB 2.0.13.You are running phpBB 2.0.10.

I am not even using phpBB any more. I use phpNuke now.

I'm a noob... guess I have a lot to learn still. Embarassed

Thanks Mars. That IS the one I am messin' with, but maybe I am just not changing the right ones. Smile New to .css altogether.
I'll keep trying things, I have the original just in case. Smile

I just use notpad or wordpad. Whichever one opens it best. If I do them online via ftp I have to use wordpad because notepad doesn't format the lines at all.

Ok, so I have just one last thing I am looking for. (No, didn't get the forums editied yet.) Seems I am just missing a could of .gifs for the polls.
poll_full.gif, top_right.gif, top_left.gif, bottom_left and bottom_right.gif.

I looked all through the files and didn't see them. Even looked through some other themese I have stored away... nothing.

Could you point me where to get these?

Thanks

Well for straight quick text edits I love DevPad
For design and stuff I use DreamWeaver MX
