1. I like the title bars for the left and right blocks. This portion of the aqua effect looks nice, though, ideally, the white horizontal wash across the top of all of the title bars would be more subdued than is presently the case.
2. Overall, the theme has a nice clean and smooth feel to it.
3. Neither the white text nor the black text, in the left, right, and center blocks, are idea, I don'tt hink, but the black text works much better than the white text, where the aqua title bars are concerned.
4. The top portion of the gray on the theme achieves an almost silver color to it, due to the wash effect applied across the very top. That big chunk of silver at the top right that is blank looks nice, though it is too much empty space to be effective at doingw hatever that space is supposed to be doing. That one section is an overdose of plainness appied to the theme in question.
5. The top portion of the center block, the piece that houses the Adhearus ad, I especially like the side pieces of. The bottom portion of that piece is plain, but acceptable, but the top portion of that piece could use some decorative edging.
6. The ad in the Our Host block on the right hand side is not centered beneath the title bar for that block. This is a negative.
7. The gray background around the left, center, and right blocks you might want to make aqua in color. Currently, theer is way too much gray. The gray, thus, overpowers the rest of the theme to a disproportionate degree.
8. The top center header piece I have mixed feelings about. Ata minimum, it is not centered, which is a negative.
9. The links at the top left of the header have too pale of a shade of squa applied to them. This makes these links seem dull, comnpared to the other aqua portions of this theme.
10. The text is all legible, thanks to a decent size of font being applied. I like being able to read everythiung with ease, at 1024x768 video resolution.
11. The black text is made problematic by the vast overabundance of gray. The gray tones everything down, muting the theme too much.
12. There is no footer, but you did apply space at the bottom of the center blocks, and that portion looks nice. Very smooth and very clean along the bottom.
13. Some edge space along the far right and left edges would be preferrable, I think, to having the left and right blocks hug the edges of the screen.
14. While the aqua is colorful, color is still largely in short supply on this theme.
15. Single worst area in need of revision? The header. |
