I have just installed MD-Pro on one of my other sites. I will put it through its paces and see how it compares to PostNuke. A report will follow in the near future.

First impressions, not bad. There are a few things that I dont like or perhaps understand. There is lots of postnukishness about it. One thing that is driving me nuts is that my winbyte2 theme will not work on it. It does if I go sitename.com/index.php?theme=winbytes2 but this is not what I would call user friendly. I wonder if the version that I have of this cms has AT LITE .8 embedded in it and doesnt recognize the theme which I think is .7.

/me shrugs.

At any rate, pnphpbb2 works fine within it and I will be installing a few more modules in the next couple of days to test out a few more things.

Ok, I have given up on my test of MD-Pro. Though it has a nice feel to it I was left with the impression that it is a postnuke knockoff that just wasnt doing it for me.

Certain features didnt work for me though the installation of 3rd party modules generally went ok.

I still much prefer the way pn looks, works and feels to me so bye bye MD-Pro.
