Empty Space to the right of Forum Problem
As it happens, the thread right under this one deals with my problem. The solution given seemed to work for the person who posted it but it doesn't for me.
My problem is the empty column at the right of the forum. I'm also using the Realm theme. Mine is a fresh installation for both Postnuke and PNphpbb. Postnuke .750, PNphpbb 1.2g and AT lite .8
As suggested, I tried to set PNphpBB2 to a custom module using theme2.html by following these steps:
Administration
AutoTheme
AutoThemes
Realm
Custom Modules
Create new for PNphpBB2
Set to use Theme2.html
But on either of the last two steps I get this message:
ERROR: themes/realm//theme.cfg _NOTWRITABLE
The two // before the filename theme.cfg trouble me. That seems to be some kind of misconfiguration somewhere.
Can someone help please? |

You need to set themes\realm\theme.cfg with permissions of 777
Then repeat the above steps. |

Thanks for answering. I was able to fix the problem by editing theme.cfg directly and replacing all occurrences of theme.html with theme2.html
I have a more serious problem once I got throught that one:
I just got through a fresh installation of postnuke .750 and PNphpbb 1.2g. Everything was fine until I went into the PHphpbb configuration and I changed the first value - something about theme matching - to YES. When I did that I got this error:
Warning: is_dir(): Stat failed for
./modules/PNphpBB2/templates/PNTheme/cellpics/ExtraLite (errno=13 -
Permission denied) in
/home/mhkutub/public_html/modules/PNphpBB2/includes/functions_styles.php on
line 241
and I can't get into the forum configuration anymore to change it back.
This is my site: http://www.eq2enchanter.magic-host.org/index.php
I have an Autotheme Realm theme installed
Can someone help please? |

Not sure but it again looks like a permissions issue.
I would post this over at http://www.pnphpbb2.com and make sure you followed the install instructions for the forums completely including necessary permissions. |

I did posted it there but no one responds. Since this is a totally new installation, is re-installing PNphpbb an option for me? if it is, what would be the downside if any?
If it's any help, this are all the error messages I get if I try to get back into the forum configuration:
Warning: is_dir(): Stat failed for ./modules/PNphpBB2/templates/PNTheme/cellpics/ExtraLite (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /home/mhkutub/public_html/modules/PNphpBB2/includes/functions_styles.php on line 241

I'm pretty sure I followed the installation instructions religiously and I'm somewhat surprised that a simple configuration option on the forum menu can bring the forum down unrecoverably. I'd just like to do the installation again and not touch anything in the configuration again once it's working. |

| It turns out I hadn't chmoded the cellpics folder to 777 and that was what was causing the problem. It's all fine now. Thanks for your help. |
