Maybe a dumb question ... if so apologies now ... cos I'm still learning 
Is there a way to open a series of HTML pages in PN. I would like the left side (menu's) to remain but the pages to be opened in the right side area (like the Forum Module / Admin CP)

Not a dumb question at all!
There are several modules out there available to do just that. HtmlPages and PostWrap will do the job.
I have used PostWrap and prefer that one. You can find these quite readily but if you having trouble finding them then let me know and I will give you a hand.

Cheers Ray,
Took your advice on PostWrap ... took a while to set up but works  ... though I find if I select Auto wide I get a balnk screen though I htink this may have to do with the target page being a specified rather than 100% ... need to do some experimenting to solve.
