A few hours back i purchased the COD5 template for Joomla, and i did get a quick respond with the download-link. So for that many thx!
But here comes the practical part.. I'm not happy about it.
There are only 2 module places: Left and Right (THATS IT)
Also, it requires an intensive knowledge to adjust the template towards a template that Joomla Fully supports.
for example:
Try to install LGSL for joomla on this template and you will see very soon that the WxH are a big fail according to the settings done by this template, theres more to it. just not in to it to explain all this.
Template look = 8
Template integration in Joomla = 5
Template functionality = 5
Template price = 4 (because of the lack in module positions etc.)
also, please be so kind to add ''params.ini'' in this template because its missing that file.
If you wanna contact me about this then please mail me at wittebolx@wittebolx.com |

All of the Joomla themes are written to work with Left, Main Body, and Right. It is what most people use. It is easy to add a new module space though as all you have to do is duplicate the Left or Right Modules code and change it to work with Area1, 2, 3...etc. If you would like me to do that for you I would be more than happy to. Just contact me via PM here with what areas you would like and I can add them.
I am not familiar, however, with the params.ini file as I have never used it in our Joomla themes. I actually don't recall ever seeing it in any of the Joomla themes that I have seen in the past. Is this a file that is part of the 1.5 system? If it is I am still working on getting our thems to run off the 1.5 system without the legacy support. |
