Post subject: topic images wont show up

im running purplehaze.
everytime i post news the topic image wont show. shows the path to the image stopping at /topic/ and nothing further.
wheni create the story and do preview story theimage shows up in the preview and it shows up in the admin topic section. i even tried the php-nuke pic there that came with it and still a no go.

nvm i fixed it. finally found a post that had the answer
