Hi
I just recently bought/installed the WoW4 theme. I do have a couple of questions I hope someone can help me with:
1. I am running phpnuke 7.9 I would like to use a secure login (the one where a new user must enter a "security number code") and can only activate their account with a genuine email. The login block that seems to be included with what I have only as the username/password combo, rather than the security code addition. Is that a separate module I have to download?
2. I followed the instructions posted on the forum to activate the center-up forum block that I've seen in your site demos. However, when I created the block, and selected "forums", all I get is the block graphics and a link to the forums page. I would like to know where/how to get the one to show recent discussions, forum posts, etc. Is that another separate module?
3. When I go to the "member list" on my site, I do not get the same look as shown on your demo screen (lines with alternating shades of color.) All I get is a solid grey background with the list. Yet another Mod???
If these are separate mods, what are their names, and where do I find them to download them?
Thanks for any help you can give me. |

1) This is set in config.php
$gfx_chk = 0;
Set that to 1
2) The block I use is called cz_centerforums, it is for an older version of Nuke though and doesn't usually work on any of the new versions, you can search the web for forum blocks for PHPNuke though, there are a ton of them.
3) Can you post a link to the site so I can see what is happening? That isn't a custom mod at all. |

OK, I changed the permissions on the site so that you don't have to register to see the memberlist.
I also changed the security permissions from 0 to 1, as you suggested. Nothing seems to have changed. The config file mentions "if you have the GD extension". Is this something that should have been included when I obtained phpnuke 7.9? Is it an option that may or may not be installed? I've done a google search on GD extension, and haven't yet found anything useful...
Thanks so much for taking the time to help. And I am amazed at the swiftness of your responses! |

GD extension is a PHP Extension that your hosting provider will have to have installed on the server, I would open a ticket with them and ask.
As for the member list, can you create me an admin account so I can check some settings? |
