Hi

I recently purchased a phpnuke theme which looks great, the only problem is getting it to work on my site.

I've downloaded and installed the recommended version (autotheme lite .Cool but in my CMS i seem to just get this message with no config options. I am using phpnuke v8.

AutoTheme Lite 0.8
Copyright (c) 2002-2006 Shawn McKenzie
http://www.spidean.com

This site is running the AutoTheme HTML Theme System. AutoTheme runs as a transparent user module. It can be configured from the Administration interface

Am i missing something or has it been installed incorrectly? I noticed it said "It can be configured from the Administration interface" but there is no icon?

I tried to install the postnuke .87 version which displayed an autotheme option in my CMS but had a "X" with no icon and when i click it get a blank page.

Can anyone help me or point out where i'm going wrong?

Many thanks

Got a link to the site?

You uploaded the AT Lite to your modules folder and activated it through the admin modules section?

My site is www.misery-guild.co.uk/html

I have tried 3 versions of autotheme lite now

autotheme lite .8 had no icon in the amin panel byt allowed me to activate it under the modules menu, this then gave me a link on the left hand side of the page which displayed the message shown in my original message above.

autotheme lite 0.87(phpnuke and postnuke) uploaded with no problems, i then get an autotheme icon in my admin panel dispalying "X" and when i click on it displays a blank page.

re-installed phpnuke 8 and the autotheme's 4-5 times now and i'm really stuck

Ok we got him up and running with AutoTheme but his forums are still messed up. Whenever you can take a look Mars, I think it's that 8.0 bug that people were having problems with but I don't know how to fix it lol.

Resta,
Can you email me an admin login for the site and an FTP login as well?
I will look and verify everything is setup properly.

I've emailed you login info. God of Wonders has looked at it for me and has been a great help. The only problem we have now is when opening forum posts. You can create them as usual and the forum has the wowhorde3 theme but posts show as blank pages and makes the rest of the site go different colors.

Would it be less of a headache to use an earlier version of nuke as it sounds like a common problem?

Many thanks

Not really sure what is happening on the forums, I spent around 2 hours on Saturday digging into it and haven't found anything out of whack that would cause that. I also have an email in to the AutoTheme developer asking for his input.

If you want to roll back to another version that would be fine with me as well. Smile
