Mars,

How do I activate the news module in my home page?

When I add a test news item and go to the home page to do a test view of the news story, clicking on the icon should take me to a extented view or page of the news story. It does in fact take me to a new page, but that page states 'Sorry, this Module isn't active!"

So at this point I go to the Module scetion in the admin section to active it, but it is grayed out or something. It does not allow me to make any changes.

Have I got the wrong ideal about this news module? Shouldn't this module be activated?

Please check your PM for Admin info.

You had the news module marked as inactive, in order to fix it I had to put another module in the PHPNuke homepage setting, reactivate the news module and then put it back to the homepage setting.
