Post subject: glasshostX (PN .763) center and right blocks not displaying  PostPosted: Nov 09, 2006 - 09:58 AM

Hi.

I looked around here for quite some time before I decided to post this, but anything I found didn't quite apply to me.

I'm running a new install of PostNuke .763 on a site I'm hoping to launch this weekend. It can be viewed at:
http://www.gotorontofc.com/index.php

I'm using your glasshostX Xanthia theme, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the right and center blocks to display. News displays fine in the center of the page, but I can't get Admin Messages to show up, or anything else in that center block container. I don't care much about the right blocks...I only mention them because it may help you narrow down my problem.

Yes, the theme has been modified, but almost exclusively in terms of images. I changed only some spacing issues in both article.html and summary.html, as well as adding a link to the "Email this article" portion of the Recommend_Us module on article.html.

So, to sum it up...

PostNuke .763
glasshostX theme

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
James

Does master.htm contain the code for the right blocks?

I don't have a "master.htm" file in this theme...there's not one in there by default.

Having said that, your answer gave me a clue as to how to solve the problem (I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to this stuff, but I'm learning), and I have figured it out. I looked in "theme.htm" and found there was a tag for displaying the left blocks, but not ones for center or right blocks. I added "<!--[$centerblocks]-->", saved the file, and it works fine now. I'm working on the right as I type this.

Thanks, I really appreciate the quick response. Great theme, by the way.
