| Who wins the battle? Or is just a personal taste thing? I have run PHP-Nuke in the past and am thinking about checking out Post Nuke. |

| Depends on the type of site, for gaming type sites I would go with PHPNuke as the modules for clans and guilds are there, for personal or business type sites I would go with PostNuke, the code is cleaner and much more secure as well. |

Interesting. I finally figured out some barriers that I could not get past with PHP-Nuke, including some pain in the butt stuff with phpbb system. But heck I'm learning and that is part of the fun....
So are there big differences in the administration and setup of Post Nuke?

Admin panel is very straightforward and intuitive. God, I love big words on Sunday.
Installation is easy which reminds me I have to get my tutorial done for that. |

I went with Post nuke becuase of Mars security issue, I had a PHP site once and was hacked (partially my fault hadnt kept up with latest release).
I am not sure what mods he is reffering to but I am using it for a COD2 clan (we are using the theme found on this site) and my platoon is happy with it.
www.killcravings.com/cod2 if you want to check it out. Please dont register, this site is just for our platoon to use. |

Good luck with the site and cod2. I play that too and Im in the Lost Patrol clan. Currently Im not playing much as I have been getting my first map ready for release. It is based on the more historical Brecourt Manor fight than the one currently out.
If you want to see some screenies of it as a work in progress let me know here and I will hook you up with the links. |
