Hello,
I'm somewhat new to this so im not going to pretend like I know much. I've worked with a couple forums in the past that were pre-built, ie; guildlaunch, etc. However I've never setup a forum from scratch myself.
I noticed you guys do really nice work. I'd like to make a custom order for Aion and was wondering a couple things. I'll start from the top and hopefully you can fill me in.
What forums do I have to use to use these themes? I'm assuming it's phb boards?
How easy is this to do for someone who's relatively new?
Do you guys offer or have any step by step guides on how to setup the forums and manage them after they've been done?
When purchasing a package, ie a custom package, do you guys setup the forum or am I just getting the theme code and I have to place it into the boards editing system myself?
I saw that you have pre-made themes but none for Aion, so what's the difference in price between those and a custom?
How long will it take on average and if it is going to be timely, how much if the option is available, is it to speed up the process?
I think that's about all I want to know for now. I'll browse through the forum and review the faq's and stuff but if you could provide any advice. I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Tidj |

Custom themes cost 250.00 and usually take 2 weeks.
Our themes can run on a number of platforms but we recommend RavenNuke and it's built in forums. It is a very simple system to use and administrate.
We offer installation services along with normal purchases, but the custom price includes installation as well.
We are starting to work on themes for Aion but haven't released anything yet. |

All right
So even the pre-built themes in the store offer installing support? |

RavenNuke is the updated most secure version of PHPNuke, PostNuke used to be a fork of PHPNuke but they have entirely rewritten the codebase.
You can learn about RavenNuke at http://ravenphpscripts.com/ |

All right, I'll definately look into that, thank you.
I'm looking at buying the premade FFXI theme, it sais it's a postnuke theme. But I imagine that will work just fine with the suggestion you're giving me? |

I've leased the server space from ravenwebservices as suggested, now they're setting up ravennuke(tm) for me. Is there anything I need to know? He asked whether the theme was a regular theme or an auto theme?
Is there anything else I should know before continueing? |

Great news Mars! I've now got a running forum thanks to you and Raven. Now all I need to do is the last step which is getting a theme. I just wanted to verify before I purchase this one, FFXI Theme that you sell.
My forums are located at forums.etronline.net and I believe im using Ravennuke(tm) 2.4? Not sure. Anyways, I just needed to know which style to pick on the side cause when I go to select theme, it gives a lot of choices. PhPNuke, Ravennuke 2.2, 2.3 etc. Don't want to buy the wrong one.
Thanks again Mars, will hopefully be doing business with you come the morrow. |

Sorry for the slow replies, real life has me swamped.
I had to do some updates to the theme for 2.4 but it works just fine on my test bench. |
