I recently purchased Eve Online Theme 1 for Nuke Evolution and having a few isues. Minor issues are some sql errors which were cleared up by turning off debugging in config.php and some layout issues with various blocks. At this point my primary issue is that the blocks admin area does not function. I am unable to activate, deactivate, move etc. blocks. The page generates the following error in IE -
Line: 82
Char: 13
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://<mysite>.com/admin.php?op=blocks
Firefox does not report an error but also lacks any functionality in the area.
Nuke-Evolution reports that the theme is not compatible with 'advanced features' in the theme admin area when I install it.
I have uninstalled everything and recreated the entire site with the same results.
I would really like to use this theme for our game site. I would be willing to change the site to PHPNuke or PostNuke if I could obtain the theme in a compatible format (I already tried it with PHPNuke and the copy I have is not compatible). I would also entertain the idea of using Eve Online Nuke Theme 2 if this is more compatible with Nuke-Evolution.
I am open to suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your help. |

Firstly, thanks for the quick response.
That puts me closer, I can see the activate, deactivate etc. icons in the block admin area and the area lays out more like it is supposed to but I still cannot activate or deactivate there. I can however do it by going to edit -> block.
Let me play around a bit more.
Thanks again for the fast help. |

Odd, I can deactivate a block from the block edit area, but I cannot delete it. There is also no way for me to move a block up or down. I thought if I could delete them I could then reinstall them in the order I wanted them to appear but it doesn't seem possible.
I do seem to be closer, but I obviously need to be able to make adjustments to the block placement on the homepage.
This does appear to be the only functionality I am lacking, other than some nit picky block alignment issues I can probably work out or just find third party blocks to give me what I am after.
I am even more commited to using the theme now that I see it more or less like it should look, but I still have to wonder if I would be better off with a more widely used CMS like PostNuke or PHPNuke. I would assume your themes have had more usage and therefore would show less bugs with more 'accepted' packages like those? |

Yes, I always recommend RavenNuke for the CMS of choice on gaming sites.
http://ravenphpscripts.com is the site
And if you do decide to change over to it just reply to the theme download email and I will send you that version instead. |

I am good to go with that, and I greatly appreciate the help. What I want at this point is to do one more install of a Nuke package and have the theme work with it. I would rather not go PHPNuke but I am cool with PostNuke (I've used it before) or any of the other clones.
I will throw a test install of RavenNuke up on my development site and email you when it's up.
Thanks again.
I really like the theme btw ... |

Outstanding ....
The RavenNuke install went without a hitch, it appears to be a nice, full-featured package and the theme looks like it is fully functional.
I can't express how happy I am with the exemplary support and prompt attention I have received.
Thank you. |
