Need help with bf2 theme.Cant add new blocks.Dont showing after adding them in block admin.

I count 9 separate blocks on your site. None of these are stock so you must have put them there. Which blocks are you trying to put up so that I know what Im looking for.

The blocks on the site is there from the start.this site is new and a fresh database and the blocks are there when you start up platinum first time.I have another site too and never had this problem so i thing it has somthing with the theme controllpanel or only the theme.

Make sure you set language to ALL when you add a new block.

Post subject: Maybe it is somthing i dont understand.

Its my first time with Auto Theme.When i oploader a block to Root / Block,and log into admin and go to block there.Nothing happends when i add a custom block there.Its somthing with the Auto Theme and you cant go there to add blocks.When i go to Admin / Auto Theme and try to add in there i dont find the block i was uploading.Its probably somthing i miss here.Can you explaine it step by step please.

I turned on multiple languages in preferences and then made sure the blocks were all set to Language all.

Hmm.I change the block in admin / modules blocks.php from at-lite_8_nuke and put in the blocks.php from platinum back again.And it seems to work.Amaising.i can add blocks.hehe Very Happy

Weird.
There is a new AutoTheme lite coming out in the next few days that will address a couple of issues with PHPHnuke and Platinum nuke. The paid version is already in beta for it right now.

The new AT released today, have you tried it?
Make sure you set center blocks to CENTER UP as well.

Are you fixing the center blocks from auto theme or from the admin panel?

Either.
You add the Blocks in admin panel, then configure them where you want them to dispay in AutoTheme.

Ok redownload the BF2Metal zip file, I updated it to fix the missing forum images.
You can just upload the forums subdirectory if you want or the entire theme.

In the admin panel you have one block and one center block link.Center block in block link work but not in the center block when you can split one center block in 2.

themes/PT-BF2Metal/images/PT-BF2Metal_03.jpg is an image only version.
You could replace the flash in theme.html and theme2.html with that.

When its a new post in the forum the PT picture is red,and if you clic on the link i get this error

Looking for an updated forums.css that puts the text in the messages and forum topics left justified. I edited the current forums.css to add the left justified, but it puts all forum data to the left. I'm not to experienced with editing the css files to make format corrections.

I want the forums formatted as they are here. If someone has a copy please PM me. I'm DOA trying to figure this out.

Outside of this, the BF2 Metal theme is really nice. Just trying to clear up these last few frustrating ends.

Here is a copy of the current forums.css I added the left justifed to line 8

home.comcast.net/~aweimer/forums.css

Home page has the Main Menu centered, then when you click forums because I edited the forums.css it puts everything left justified. I would like to forms format similar to what you have here.

I found this one. Edit for theme with Autotheme, change the two text lines for default and forum pages to #FFFFFF to make the text white. I changed the home page text color to white too. It will change you news postings to white text.

I too cant see the curser in the message box in the forums. Other than that the place is looking pretty damn good.

Mars will most likely be able to tell you what to adjust to get the curser to show up in that box.

Tanks Ray.Yes the curser problem have been nice to fix.iàm Norwegian and my school English isn`t too good.lol.That was the thing with color i tried to explain in the post over here.Looks good now exept the curser.About the problems with new topic.this is in the bf2mEtALPlatinum theme.mars have admin rights and can switch to the other theme or just give me a post and i can change it

For the text box
Open themes/bf2/forums/forums.css
Go to line 87 to 89 and change it to

input.post,textarea.post{background:#FFFFFF;color:#000000;
font:12px Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;padding-bottom:2px;padding-left:2px;
border:1px solid;border-color: #000000 #707070 #707070 #000000}

That will change the reply box to white background with black text.

I cannot duplicate the click to new post bug though.
Still looking into it.

Added a new block and.my shout box was stopping.i have to move some of the blocks were i want to have it.The block seems to be a little buggy in the theme.Any ideas ti fix this?

It is possible for you to make me a new theme with all this things fixt.And with the split block too?With a nice flash in the header.Give me a price.Better for me to have a good theme and no problems.

It is scrolling now, the doctype for the homepage module wasn't set.
I set it to 4.01 Trans and it is working fine now.
